I have been coaching various children private lessons since February. I now have 9 lessons each week with children who have been with me for weeks even months.

I like to break down the sessions with certain themes which are age and level appropriate. If the players have shown improvement and the effort during the session we usually finish with a 5 minute fun game of their choice.

I have been coaching  Trevor and Stephen since last Fall and every week since February 2009. Trevor represents the APP team for U11 and plays for South Coast Bayern as well. Stephen plays for the U9 South Coast Bayern Team.

Stephen wasn’t a goalkeeper before I met him but he was soon keen to learn how to be solid in front of goal. In a short space of time Stephen has established himself as South Coast Bayern’s number 1 goal-keeper with a number of great saves and superb kicks.

Trevor played both goalkeeper and on the outfield and from the first moment I met him his attitude impressed me. He already had strong kick in both positions but I wanted to work on his accuracy and ensure him that power wasn’t always the right option. He adapted to knowing when to hit the ball long, short, hard and soft.  We worked on his set pieces and takes a lot of corners for the APP team.

I am very happy to be working with both of them and long may it continue.
